China vs. Phillippines War 2012: U.S. show of force with nuclear battleship

After Japan spotted China warships around the South China Sea, U.S. and the Phillippines knew China was serious and had no problems using force. While the Fillipino President has being doing peace talks, U.S. has another peace talk strategy in mind. U.S. has deployed a Nuclear Submarine into the South China Sea. U.S. is trying to send a clear measure that they will be ready in case tensions boil over in the China vs. Phillippine conflict.
To the surprise of U.S. , Phillippines does not agree with this move. Fillipino President Aquino is afraid this move might stall any peace talks between Phillippines and China. A Fillipino commision even stated that it might be illegal for the Nuclear Submarine to even be there because of treaties they have signed in the past. Many media outlets are jumping the gun predicting a China vs. Phillippine war will begin soon. Those in the know however see this as just a show of force, like the way China brought its warships into the South China Sea.
